Lark Rise to Candleford
Laura Timmins leaves the agricultural hamlet of Lark Rise to move eight miles away to the small market town of Candleford in 1880s England. She begins her first job at the post office, where Postmistress Dorcas Lane gives her a warm welcome. But her loyalties are soon divided over a dispute at Lark Rise about payment for the delivery of telegrams.G
