NOVA  "Deadliest Tornadoes"  NOVA examines tornado science in the wake of April 2011's outbreak of deadly winds that leave a trail of destruction and kill more than 360 people. While meeting with victims and scientists, the program looks at possible improvements in tornado prediction and ways to better protect people and communities.G

Antiques Roadshow  "Minneapolis, Mn - Hour One"  Host Mark L. Walberg and appraiser Sebastian Clarke visit the American Swedish Institute to examine Mora clocks, tall-case timekeepers of the late 1800s. At the convention center, discoveries include a questionable George Elmslie chair that, if authentic, could fetch $50,000; a 1900 McKinley-Roosevelt poster; and a 1976 intense yellow diamond ring, valued up to $160,000. Antiques Roadshow UK  "Prideaux Place 1"  Michael Aspel and the specialists are in Cornwall. Among the items brought to be scrutinized are original artwork for early saucy seaside postcards, and a revealing letter from aboard HMS Victory written by Lord Nelson.G

Rick Steves' Europe  "Barcelona and Catalunya"  Rick enjoys the vibrant street scenes, tasty tapas, and pedestrian-friendly Gothic Quarter in Barcelona. He takes a scenic side trip to mountaintop Montserrat.G

The Lawrence Welk Show  "Mother's Day Show"  This black and white classic show from 1956 features Buddy Merrill playing "Blue Suede Shoes" in tribute to the latest rage - Elvis Presley. The very young Lennon Sisters sing an a capella version of "Kentucky Baby" and Rocky Rockwell provides a humor-filled "When I Take My Sugar to Tea."G

Are You Being Served  "Forward Mr. Grainger"  Mr. Rumbold attends a management seminar for a month, leaving Mr. Grainger temporarily in charge.G
