American Masters  "A Letter to Elia"  Martin Scorsese and co-director-writer Kent Jones fashion a film about director Elia Kazan that reveals the man through his work. Clips from his films are layered and juxtaposed with archival footage of Kazan himself being interviewed. This is interspersed with straight-to-camera exposition from Scorsese. The script emphasizes Kazan's use of realism, locations and subtlety of performances.G

An ancient globe in the corner of the library also reveals how the world was viewed hundreds of years ago.G

WordWorld  "Welcome Home, Duck/The Lost Letter L"  Welcome Home, Duck - Frog, excited about Duck's return from a long vacation, makes a "Welcome Home" banner to hang over Duck's nest. Problem is, the dock connecting Frog's log to Duck's nest has broken, so Frog has to find another way across. Frog tries building a SOCK and a BLOCK to replace the dock, but it's not until he builds a ROCK that he can land on, halfway across the pond, that he's able to get across the water to duck's nest. D

Caillou  "Caillou Shows Responsibility"  Borrowed Book: Miss Martin agrees to loan Caillou a preschool book, as long as he promises to take good care of it. Caillou agrees, but when he returns home he soon realizes the book is gone. Oh no! He lost it! Feeling badly, Caillou goes to great lengths to recreate the book - only to find out he left it in the preschool's playground. D

Ben and Barney return to the park just in time for Ben to get a pony ride after all!. D

Thomas & Friends  "Good Deeds"  It is a busy day in Sodor as Knapford Station is being decorated. Emily is collecting the flowers for the new window boxes, but when Mavis does not say hello, Emily assumes she is sad and chuffs to the quarry to cheer her up with some of the flowers. The flowers end up in the way of the engines' work. D
