Sousa on the Rez: Marching to the Beat of a Different Drum   Marching music and brass bands have been a part of Native American culture for more than a century. This profile of two contemporary Indian community bands features the Iroquois Indian Band from upstate New York and the Fort Mojave Tribal Band based in Needles, California. The film traces the origins of these groups and their 20th century history.G

Global Voices  "The Collaborator and His Family"  Ibrahim, who worked as a collaborator for Israel, is forced to leave Palestine and take his wife and five children to live in Tel-Aviv. Although he expects Israeli protection for his service, the family is denied permission to reside in the country legally. Regarded as traitors by Palestine and abandoned by Israel, they are a family without a country, their unremittingly precarious existence buffeted by politics and circumstance. D

Outdoor Idaho  "Trip to the Moon"  One early traveler called it the strangest 75 square miles in North America. Characterized by one of the only continental hot spots in the world, Craters of the Moon encompasses three quarters of a million acres of lava flows, sagebrush, rolling hills... and a few surprises. Part of it is managed by the National Park Service, as a national monument. And it may be as close as any of us will ever come to a trip to the moon.G

Dialogue  "Annette Gordon-Reed"  The historian speaks with host Marcia Franklin during the Sun Valley Writers' Conference. Gordon-Reed won the 2008 National Book Award and the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for her book on Thomas Jefferson and the Hemings slave family, which he owned.G

America ReFramed  "Trembling Before God"  A cinematic portrait of various gay Orthodox Jews who struggle to reconcile their faith and their sexual orientation. D
