Meet Mackenzie Soldan - Everyone Was Cheering!  "Medal Quest"  Wheelchair tennis player Mackenzie Soldan talks us through last year's gold-medal match against teammate Emmy Kaiser in Guadalajara, Mexico. Soldan was surprised, at the Parapan American Games, by her own reaction: "It hit me, I'm playing for my country." It was a tough start for Soldan, as she lost the first set. D

Lex talks about losing his vision as a young boy and says, "We had to figure out how we were going to move on from that." Most of those people live in countries that do not have the resources to combat these diseases. In a striking move, a group of pharmaceutical companies pledged to donate enough drugs to target five tropical diseases that affect tens of millions of people in sub-Saharan Africa. D

This coalition of caring, ordinary Americans journey to the L'Heure Joyeuse clinic half-a-world away, bringing with them food, formula, medicines, toys, hygiene kits, medical equipment and most importantly, hope. During their one-week trip, the group overcomes culture shock, communication barriers, frustration and outrage while visiting destinations off-limits to the typical tourist, including an orphanage in Marrakech.
