Hands On Crafts for Kids  "Italy"  This week on Hands On we travel to Italy. Italy is a country located in Southern Europe sharing its northern border with France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia. The land known as Italy today has been the cradle of European cultures such as the Etruscans and the Romans. D

Hey Kids, Let's Cook  "Personal Pizzas"  This recipe is every kid's favorite and a personal favorite of mine, so we call it Personal Pizzas. These are going to be "made to order", or "just the way you like it", with a blend of cheeses, gooey mozzarella cheese and an endless list of creative toppings like olives, grilled vegetables, and pepperoni. And you know pizza restaurants from all over America give a unique name to their own specialty pizzas on the menu. D

Joanne Weir's Cooking Confidence  "Making Waves Or Marrakech Express"  Joanne turns ordinary romaine into an exotic salad salad with honey, cardamom, and Moroccan Spiced Almonds. Her student, Leah, boards the Marrakech Express to learn the secret to making burger night an even bigger hit with the family, mixing Moroccan spices with lamb and topping with a zesty cucumber, yogurt sauce with ginger. Recipes: Romaine Waves with Honey and Cardamom and Moroccan Spiced Almonds, Moroccan Merguez Lamb Burgers, Yogurt, Cucumber and Ginger Sauce. D

Ask This Old House  "Installing Bluestone Patio/Hanging Bikes in a Garage"  Landscape contractor Roger Cook helps a homeowner install a bluestone patio in an urban backyard. Then, Roger, along with host Kevin O'Connor, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey, and general contractor Tom Silva, asks, "What is it?" Afterward, Tom helps a homeowner and her daughter hang their bikes in a small garage. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "The Best of West Ireland: Dingle, Galway, and the Aran Islands"  Rick travels through rugged villages and dances in a castle at a medieval folk banquet.G

Rudy Maxa's World  "Edinburgh & The Scottish Highlands"  Rudy attends the Edinburgh International Festival - the world's largest arts festival featuring theater, comedy, dance, music, opera, street performance and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tatoo. Then Rudy heads north to the Highlands where he rides the so-called "Harry Potter Train" and visits the Isle of Skye.G

Recipes: (1) BEEF ROULADE WITH ROASTED FENNEL AND SWEET PEPPERS, (2) GRILLED BREAD WITH RIPE TOMATOES AND OLIVE OIL. Student: Clodel "Del" Gosuico - Programmer. D
