Outdoor Idaho  "Eating Local"  Most of our food travels about 1,500 miles before it ever reaches our kitchen tables. But there are a growing number of food producers and consumers who prefer to eat locally grown food; they say it's healthier and tastier. Today, more than 50 farmers markets operate throughout the state, allowing farmers and consumers to meet and learn from each other. It's a trend that harkens back to a simpler time, when communities supported local farmers and people knew where their food came from. Outdoor Idaho explores the growing fascination with eating local.G

Teacher Harriet explains that they can either get a bunny or a turtle. The kids learn what it means to 'vote' and that sometimes it doesn't always turn out your way. Luckily, ALL of the kids find something to love about their new pet, 'Snowball'! The Neighborhood Votes - The Tiger family is going to Clock Factory Park today to hear a big announcement from King Friday. D

Host David Yetman hops on a plane to navigate his way into the former ranch known as Mornington Station. D

The kids are delighted to see that Max and Mitch put on a synchronized swimming show. Dads' Day Out - Buddy, Tiny, and Mr. Pteranodon join Annie Tyrannosaurus and Leroy Lambeosaurus and their dads for a Dads' Day at the Big Pond. D

Super Why!  "Hansel and Gretel: A Healthy Adventure"  The team convinces a witch to trade her gingerbread house for something delicious and nutritious.G

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Night Lights/Go Snails Go!"  Night Lights - Nick and Sally are making shadow puppets with the Cat in the Hat, but the batteries in the flashlight have gone out! They jump into the Thingamajigger and shrink down to visit the fireflies that live in the backyard. There they learn that the fireflies communicate by flashing their lights. And when the fireflies provide the light the kids need, the shadow puppet show can continue! Go Snails Go! - Nick, Sally and the Cat have been invited along on a snail expedition! They jump into the Thingamajigger and shrink down to meet up with Lewis and Clark, the two snails leading the way! As they travel through the forest of Slippity-Goo, having fun sliding in their own shells, the kids learn about all the different ways snails use their shells. D

Changing Seas  "Sinking The Vandenberg"  In the turquoise blue waters of the Florida Keys, a new attraction is drawing scuba divers from around the world: The USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg. Laid to rest in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, the Vandenberg is the world's second largest intentionally sunk shipwreck. In her last mission as an artificial reef, this massive ship is already attracting a variety of fish and other marine life. D
