Wild Kratts  "Cheetah Racer"  Chris and Martin announce that no creature or vehicle can travel as fast over the rough and tumble African savannah as the cheetah. Aviva takes the challenge and declares she will build a ground racer that can run even faster than a cheetah. Of course Zach wants to prove that he is a better inventor than Aviva and joins the race. D

Peep and the Big Wide World/Pocoyo  "Soap Opera/Diva Duck"  Soap Opera - Quack and Chirp get into a singing duel. (Poor Peep!) Their operetta is interrupted by the discovery of a sweet-smelling, slippery something-or-other that makes bubbles. Diva Duck - Quack is preparing for yet another one of his concerts, which means he must stay in his pond and NOT SPEAK. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Be Cool/Elephant Walk"  Be Cool - Phew, it's hot outside! How are Sally and Nick going to stay cool? Cat suggests that they should visit some friends in the Dizzle-dazzle Desert to learn how to keep cool. They learn that some animals are light coloured, some stay out of the sun, and some, like Tommy the coolest toad around, just mooove sloooow. Nick and Sally take their advice, but Cat has an even better idea - run through a sprinkler! Elephant Walk - When building a toy construction set, Nick and Sally wonder if there's such thing as a one-thing-does-it-all tool. D

Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps  "Angelina and Super Polly/Angelina's Dance Like A Cake"  Angelina and Super Polly - Polly adores a book about a mouseling girl who acquires superhero powers when she hears a trumpet fanfare. Polly starts to think maybe she has superpowers, too! She gets a fanfare recording from her father, but after several failed attempts it becomes clear that Polly has no superpowers at all. Vici, Marco, and Angelina explain that everyone is super at something - like dance, or telling stories, or being a good friend. D

Bob the Builder  "Following Clues (Pt. 3)"  Dizzy Finds a Pirate - Fixham Theatre needs work completed before the performance of The Legend of Brickbeard, with actor and theatre manager Richard Olivier in the lead role. When Dizzy tells the team that she has seen Brickbeard backstage, Spud and Scrambler believe he's returned to stop them from finding the Golden Hammer. Later Dizzy realizes that it wasn't Brickbeard, she saw but Richard Olivier rehearsing for the play. D

Franny's Feet  "Halloween Harvest/Going Ape!"  Halloween Harvest - At a fall fair, Franny helps a friend so she can attend a big costume party! Going Ape! - Franny travels to the Rock of Gibraltar where she learns about macaque monkeys, cave formations, and being brave. D

Thomas & Friends  "Kindness with Friends"  Percy's New Friends - Percy wants to make friends with the wild animals on Sodor. When he approaches a squirrel, it runs away. He tries to make friends with a bird but it flies away. D

Dialogue  "STEM Research"  On this week's Dialogue, host Joan Cartan-Hansen talks with the administrators who oversee an array of cutting edge scientific research at the state's three major universities to find out more about their work and their support for science education in Idaho. Cartan-Hansen's guests are Mark Rudin, Vice President of Research at Boise State University; Richard Jacobsen, Executive Director of Research and Technology Transfer Idaho State University and John "Jack" McIver, Vice President for Research and Economic Development at University of Idaho. Included in this week's show is a report from Aaron Kunz about how scientists are using microscopic creatures to repurpose garbage.G

This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 15 of 16"  Landscape contractor Roger Cook oversees the finish going down on the driveway - a thin layer of liquid asphalt and stone that ends up looking like a gravel driveway, without the maintenance. Inside, master electrician Allen Gallant installs a new LED strip light at the old fireplace to give the brick surround a warm glow. Decorative painter Tony Bevilacqua shows host Kevin O'Connor how he created a bright custom canvas wall covering for the new powder room. D

Himalaya with Michael Palin  "Passage By India"  Palin detours into Punjab to reach the only official border crossing between Pakistan and India and then travels to nearby Amritsar, the Sikh citadel and site of the Golden Temple. Masterpiece Classic  "Downton Abbey, Series II - Part Two"  Downton Abbey becomes a convalescent home for wounded soldiers to ease overcrowding at the hospital.
