The Lord Is Not On Trial Here Today   This Peabody Award-winning documentary tells the personal story behind the landmark First Amendment case in the U.S. Supreme Court that set the foundation for the separation of church and state in public schools. In 1945, Jim McCollum, a fifth-grader in a southern Illinois university town, was forced to sit in the hallway alone when he did not agree to participate in a voluntary Protestant religion class. His mother, Vashti McCollum, sued the school board beginning what she would later describe as "three years of headlines, headaches and hatred."G

They jump into the Thingamajigger and shrink down to visit the fireflies that live in the backyard. There they learn that the fireflies communicate by flashing their lights. And when the fireflies provide the light the kids need, the shadow puppet show can continue! Go Snails Go! - Nick, Sally and the Cat have been invited along on a snail expedition! They jump into the Thingamajigger and shrink down to meet up with Lewis and Clark, the two snails leading the way! As they travel through the forest of Slippity-Goo, having fun sliding in their own shells, the kids learn about all the different ways snails use their shells. D

The kids are excited to learn that Arlene is a bird and a dinosaur. Home With Shiny & Don - Shiny and Don stay at home and we get to see that just because they don't always ride with Buddy and Tiny on the Dinosaur Train doesn't mean that they are not having fun. An adventure into a local caves leads to a marvelous and brilliant discovery. D

Sesame Street  "Failure to Launch"  Hubert the Human Cannonball comes to Sesame Street to be launched out of a cannon, across the yard, and into a bucket of blue gelatin. He starts to set up all his stuff in the arbor and takes out a ruler so he can make sure the bucket is exactly five feet from the cannon. Baby Bear helps him measure it, Elmo and Telly help him into the cannon, and?drum roll please?there's a poof and Hubert tumbles out. D

Sid The Science Kid  "Sid's Super Kick!"  In his backyard, Sid is pretending to be "Super Sid!" To show his super strength, he kicks a soccer ball really hard and it sails across the yard. But when he tries to kick it to a nearby tree with the same might, the ball once again sails really far. On a special trip to the Science Center, Sid and his friends investigate how using lots of force makes something move really far and fast-just like kicking a soccer ball! Barney & Friends  "The Shrinking Blankey/Things I Can Do"  The Shrinking Blankey - Baby Bop's blankey seems to be getting smaller; she's convinced it's shrinking.
