This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 11 of 16"  Landscape contractor Roger Cook installs a 3,000-pound slab of reclaimed granite for the front step. Meanwhile, general contractor Tom Silva installs new wood windows in the addition that come with exterior trim already attached and finished in the factory. In the next town over, in Concord, Massachusetts, master carpenter Norm Abram stops in to see the progress on the period restoration of the Colonel James Barrett house, a little known house that played a big role in the American Revolution. D

Ask This Old House  "Installing A Front Porch Light; Splitting Firewood"  Host Kevin O'Connor works with an electrician in Atlanta to install a front porch light. Then Kevin, along with general contractor Tom Silva, landscape contractor Roger Cook and plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey, asks, "What Is It?" Afterward, Roger shares with Kevin a tip for efficiently splitting firewood. And Richard helps a homeowner who has hot water coming from his cold water faucet. D

Rough Cut - Woodworking with Tommy Mac  "Standing Mirror"  The Standing Mirror in this episode of Rough Cut is one of Tommy's favorite projects, due to its simple design augmented by Paul Schurch's magnificent marquetry. On this episode's Road Trip, Tommy visits Schurch's studios in Santa Barbara, California, where Paul demonstrates basic marquetry. D

America's Heartland   An Iowa farm family adds fine wines to the products made on their farm. A young Tennessee couple finds success with artisanal cheeses. Sun dried tomatoes save the farm for a California family. D

NOVA  "Crash of Flight 447"  A team of seasoned pilots, engineers and safety experts examine the evidence that emerges in the weeks following the disappearance of the Rio de Janeiro to Paris flight that flew straight into a towering thunderstorm. Expert testimony, messages from the plane's computer system, CGI weather reconstructions and an airbus simulator provides a forensic view of events.G

Antiques Roadshow  "Philadelphia, Pa - Hour 2"  Experts orchestrate a symphony of appraisals, including a very valuable Alexander Calder maquette (scale model), a stunning collection of Camera Work magazines, and a very rare handcrafted chair by master Arts and Crafts furniture maker Charles Rohlf.G

Antiques Roadshow UK  "Birmingham"  Objects under scrutiny include a skull-handled walking cane bought at a boot sale, which turns out to be very valuable, an Edwardian dressing case and a collection of signed portraits from Hollywood's leading performers of the 1950s and 1960s.G

Rick Steves' Europe  "Athens and Side Trips"  Rick tours the must-sees of ancient Athens, then takes the fast-paced pulse of the modern city. On side trips, he visits the ruins of the mystical oracle at Delphi and takes a fast boat to the traffic-free island of Hydra.G

7:00 pm 
The Lawrence Welk Show  "My Blue Heaven"  This show features Jo Ann Castle performing "Hello Dolly" and Arthur Duncan's tribute to Bill "Bojangles" Robinson. Norma Zimmer sings the aria "One Fine Day" by Puccini. The show culminates with a patriotic segment celebrating Flag Day.G

Are You Being Served  "Change Is As Good As A Rest"  Mr. Grace plays musical chairs with the departments. Ladies' and Gentle-mens' Wear find themselves in the toy department.G

Vicar of Dibley 2004 Christmas Special   Everyone in Dibley is determined to celebrate Geraldine's 10th anniversary as the first female vicar of England's most eccentric parish. However, the Christmas carol-writing competition produces the worst rhyming couplets ever written and Geraldine barely manages to head off a plan to have a stripper at the Christmas Eve cocktail party. Other disasters and complications culminate in a most unusual Midnight Mass.G

Doctor Who Series  "The Lodger"  In a house on Aickman, there is a staircase that people go up, but never down. To solve the mystery of the man upstairs, the Doctor must pass himself off as a normal human being, and share a flat with Craig Owens.G
