Super Why!  "The Princess and the Pea"  It's the Annual Junior Princess Competition, and Princess Pea is worried she won't be able to pass the test and win her very own Golden Crown! The Super Readers soar into the fairytale adventure of the Princess and the Pea, and learn all about Princess Priscilla - Princess Pea's mother - and her Princess test. Dinosaur Train  "Don's Winter Wish/Festival of Lights"  When the Pteranodon family travels back to the North Pole, Don declares that it's his "winter wish" to see snow fall again. When a big blizzard comes, and even the Dinosaur Train gets snowed in, Don worries that his wish brought the blizzard. He's especially worried for his new friend, Soren Sauronitholestes, who is sitting on a nest of her eggs, out in the blizzard. D

Wild Kratts  "Aardvark Town"  When a young aardvark accidentally becomes a stowaway in Chris's backpack, the Wild Kratts team sets off on a "door to door" search to return him to his home burrow. Along the way, they discover the incredible (and valuable) service the aardvark provides to all the burrow-living creatures of Africa. Science Concept: Aardvarks manipulate earth materials and alter landscapes. D

WordWorld  "Duck at Bat/You Can Never Have Too Many OO's"  Duck loses the letter B to his baseball bat just before the big game is supposed to start. When the two letter O's in Monkey's roof blow away in the wind, it's up to Duck to hunt down the /oo/ sound and fix the roof before it rains.G

WordGirl  "A World Without WordGirl, Part 1/A World Without WordGirl, Part 2"  A WORLD WITHOUT WORDGIRL, PART 1 - When Becky's most amazing birthday party ever gets interrupted one too many times by citizens in need of WordGirl's assistance, she wishes on her birthday candle for a WordGirl-free world. Mexico -- One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless  "Baja Beach House Cooking"  Rick introduces viewers to some of Los Cabos top chefs and their restaurants then cooks dinner for them at a luxurious beach house. Margarita Carrillo, chef/owner of Don Emiliano Restaurant in San Jose del Cabo, joins Rick to purchase the local cabrillo fish and to visit Tamarindo's Farm for organically grown produce. Rick makes a tamarind chile sauce to go with his fish and eggplant course. D

Katie Brown Workshop  "Best of Summer"  Host Katie Brown's summer-inspired recipes and outdoor-entertaining projects make the most of the season. In the Kitchen: cucumber salad, poached salmon with dill and berry cake. Projects: fashioning etched glass globe candleholders and sand and a beach-glass vase with orchid. D

Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "Autumn's Delight, Part 2"  Background, rocks, trees, mist, highlight background trees in this segment. Jerry shows his students how to block in the background rocks, how to use a bristle brush to dry brush in the fog and mist. Then closes the show with using a bristle brush to dab on highlights to suggest leaves on distant trees. D

Dialogue  "Kati Marton"  Marcia Franklin talks with author and former journalist Kati Marton. During the interview, taped at the 2011 Sun Valley Writers' Conference, Franklin talks with Marton about her experience researching her most recent work, Enemies of the People. The book chronicles Marton's search to learn more about her parents, who were imprisoned by the Hungarian government during the Cold War for their work as reporters for American news outlets.G

PBS Arts from San Francisco: The Little Mermaid From San Francisco Ballet   For this inventive ballet, Hamburg Ballet's chief choreographer John Neumeier blends dance, dramatic storytelling and spectacle in a darkly emotional interpretation of the classic tale of love by Hans Christian Andersen. The production features an original score by young composer Lera Auerbach, with prima ballerina Yuan Yuan Tan in the title role.G

Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Featuring David Archuleta and Michael York   Pop sensation Archuleta and Grammy Award nominee York join the choir in celebration of the holiday season. Recorded before audiences totaling 80,000 people, this event combines dancing, holiday music and storytelling. Archuleta sings "Los Pastores a Belen" in Spanish; York tells the story of the choir's beginnings.G
