Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "European Flower Box, Part 2"  In this session, Jerry focuses on cleaning up the window area and details on the wall. Adding shadows around the windows and suggesting brick work will add interest to the painting. The flowers are next added using layers of color with loose scumbling strokes. D

Dialogue  "Colum McCann"  Marcia Franklin talks with Colum McCann, author of Let the Great World Spin. The book, which has been called the "first great 9/11 novel," won the 2009 National Book Award for fiction, and was Amazon.com's 2009 Book of the Year. The interview is part of Dialogue's ongoing "Conversations from the Sun Valley Writers' Conference" and was taped at the 2011 conference.G

Making War Horse   This film reveals the theatrical collaboration that creates a Tony Award-winning play based on Michael Morpurgo's children's novel about World War I. Cameras capture the innovators at Handspring Puppet Company, creating techniques to bring a lifelike horse to the stage for the drama of individual people and animals caught up in the war.G

Yanni: Live at El Morro   Yanni, a musical world citizen and popular contemporary composer, fulfills a 20-year-old dream to perform at the 16th-century Castillo San Felipe del Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is backed by his orchestra for this December 2011 concert at the island citadel where sea winds and rainstorms punctuated the performance. He performs career favorites, including "Santorini," "Felista," "Voyage," "The End of August," and "The Rain Must Fall."G

Tommy Emmanuel - Center Stage   Tommy Emmanuel is arguably the greatest living acoustic guitar player. Australia's "Entertainer of the Year" and two-time Grammy nominee Emmanuel delivers a dazzling 2007 performance recorded in Chico, California. Using a finger-picking style inspired by Chet Atkins, Emmanuel brings a sense of jazz improvisation into a mix that also includes blues, country, rock, classical and Spanish music.G
