Independent Lens  "Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey"  Kevin Clash's one career goal is to be a puppeteer and work with his idol, the late Jim Henson. In his teens, Clash designs and crafts his own puppets to give public performances in his home town, Baltimore, Maryland. Clash soon comes to the attention of Muppet designer Kermit Love and joins Henson on SESAME STREET where he continues to achieve his dreams "Being Elmo," plus several other characters. Mister Rogers & Me   After a chance meeting with the then-retired Fred Rogers (MISTER ROGERS), Benjamin Wagner, now a senior vice president at MTV and a singer/songwriter, years later goes on a personal journey with his brother Christofer Wagner, a television and music production professional. The brothers meet with television news personalities, authors and others who knew and worked with Rogers to compile this intimate portrait of Rogers as a person and his belief in "deep and simple."G

Hoover Dam: American Experience   During the Great Depression, this dam project draws men desperate for work to a remote canyon near Las Vegas, Nevada. They struggle against brutal heat, choking dust and perilous heights to build a colossus of concrete that brings electricity and water to millions. It transforms the American Southwest and Idaho's Morrison-Knudsen Co., which is part of the construction consortium that builds it.G
