Assassination of Abraham Lincoln: American Experience   On March 4, 1865, at the United States Capitol, a crowd of 50,000 listened as President Lincoln delivered his classic second inaugural address, urging charity and forgiveness to a nation in the final throes of war. Just two months later, a train, nine cars long and draped in black bunting, pulled slowly out of a station in Washington, DC. Dignitaries and government officials crowded the first eight cars. D

Now cameras follow paleontologists who are reconstructing a new set of fossil bones found in Morocco revealing a 53-foot long behemoth with a huge dorsal sail and scimitar-like claws. With the help of experts in paleontology, geology, climatology and paleobotany, this film brings to life the world of 65 million years ago.G

Pati's Mexican Table  "Isla Mujeres Inspired"  Isla Mujeres is a beautiful, peaceful paradise just across the Bahia de Mujeres (Bay of Women) from Cancun Mexico. Known for beautiful white sand beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters and the friendliest locals in the Mexican Caribbean, Isla Mujeres has become a haven for people from all over the world. Pati takes a day to explore this gorgeous island and try the local delicacy, tikin xic, fish marinated in a thick red sauce diluted with the juice of sour oranges and spices and wrapped in banana leaves for cooking. Taste of History  "Artillery by the Book"  Boston bookshop owner, Henry Knox, used his bookish interest in military manuals to become the chief artillery officer for General Washington. Chef Walter Staib visits Fort Mercer to learn how Knox and a rag-tag militia helped win America's independence. Chef Staib cooks "pease" soup with pork shanks and Sally Lunn toast, Hunter's stew with rabbit, beef, turkey and pork, skillet potatoes and lights cannonball punch on fire. D

Tiny's Tiny Friend - Tiny gets upset when she finds a miniature mammal named Cindy Cimolestes has moved into her "Tiny Place," a hole in a tree near the family nest. Buddy ends up using his sharp eyes to help Cindy find a new home that more perfectly fits her small size. D

The Mind of a Chef  "American"  American cuisine has come to be known as much more than just burgers and hot dogs. Ed and Pok Pok's Andy Ricker head to Sunset Park - Brooklyn's Chinatown - for some exotic ingredients, then head to the kitchen to make jop chai, a Thai stew. Ed plays with some local by-catch in that most American of cities, Houston, Texas, with chefs Chris Shepherd and Paul Qui, making a crispy fish fresh from the gulf and Filipino kinilaw. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Germany's Frankfurt and Nurnberg"  Skyscraper-studded Frankfurt - with so much commerce it's nicknamed "Bankfurt" - has a delightful-to-explore old center. Rick also visits Nurnberg, a capital for both the First Reich (the Holy Roman Empire) and the Third. From its towering castle and playful fountains to its Nazi Documentation Center and maze of underground bomb shelters, Nurnberg is a fascinating study in contrasts. D
