Super Why!  "Little Red Riding Hood"  Boo! Wolfy won't stop tricking Littlest Pig, and he has had enough! The Super Readers travel "Over the River and Through the Woods" into the story of Little Red Riding Hood on an adventure to find Little Red, her Grandma and the Wolf himself! Will talking to the Wolf help Pig, or does this wolf have more tricks up his sleeve? Educational Objectives: To learn about advocating for yourself. Also to recognize the alphabet, play fun spelling games and use the power to read to change the story. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Reindeer Games/Along Came A Spider"  Nick and Sally can't find their sled that's buried under the snow. Off they go to the Jingly Bell Forest where Magnus shows them how he digs with his feet and shovels snow with his antlers.Nick and Sally are playing soccer when their ball goes through a hole in their net. Luckily Cat's friend Mabel is a spider who knows all about weaving - maybe she can help them!G

Wild Kratts  "Bass Class"  Martin and Chris are in the middle of a friendly competition to find Small-mouth and Large-mouth Bass when they meet Wild Kratts Kid, Gavin, who is fishing. Before they can join him, Zach Varmitech arrives and challenges them to a fishing contest. The Wild Kratts team must use their knowledge of bass biology to win the tournament fair and square. D

Dialogue for Kids  "Nervous System"  It's the complex network of nerves and cells that carries messages to and from the brain and spinal cord to various parts of the body. It coordinates our movements and controls our thoughts. It's called the nervous system. Joan Cartan-Hansen is joined by Dr. Mary River, a neurologist at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, to answer students' questions.G

Bluegrass Underground  "Sarah Jarosz"  A veteran musician who'd released two CDs before turning 20, Sarah Jarosz has gone from teenage bluegrass hotshot to fully-realized innovative artist in less time than many of us spent in braces. Playing mandolin, octave mandolin, banjo and guitar while singing in a rich, throaty voice, Jarosz creates a staggeringly original sound with her new ensemble, featuring violinist Alex Hargreaves and cellist Nathaniel Smith. Their melodic interplay weaves rock rhythms, classical textures and Appalachian melodies. D

Music Voyager  "Roots, Rock, Reggae"  Jamaican reggae hit the world like a hammer in the 1970s, but where did reggae come from? How did this appealing, soulful sound develop, and where do the roots of this powerful tree extend? In this episode, Edgar explores the history of Jamaican music, from its African roots to the cusp of the reggae revolution. Edgar heads to the jungle for an entrancing kumina drumming session with the Akwaaba Drummers, that reveals the African underpinning of the island's music. Edgar is joined by Reggae Sunsplash founder Ronnie Burke on a journey across the island to Negril to meet Gilzene and the Blue Light Mento Band, who set up in a picturesque beachside setting to play some classic Jamaican mento.
