Children of the trapeze group win the championship heroically after conquering a number of difficulties. The handstand group gives up the contest because of the training fatigue. D

From extreme back-country skiing and avalanche assessment, to equestrian skijoring, ice climbing and heli-skiing, everything requires extra grit as well as specialized skills and a desire for adventure.G

Dialogue  "Idaho's Lottery"  Almost half of Idahoans purchased a lottery ticket in the last 12 months. But is the Idaho Lottery a good bet for the state? The Idaho Legislature's Office of Performance Evaluations is releasing a report reviewing the agency's operations. This week on Dialogue, host Joan Cartan-Hansen talks with Jeffrey Anderson, the executive director of the Idaho Lottery, about that report and the future of Idaho's Lottery.G

People come here from all over Russia to forget their troubles and become members of a happy village society. D

Global Voices  "Rules of the Game"  Papua New Guinea is one of the most remote places on Earth -- fragmented by tribes and clans that collectively speak 800 different languages. This program follows the 2007 elections in which three candidates are vying to be the next governor in a system often plagued with political corruption and violence. D

Global Voices  "On Wheels Brazil"  Following the lives of people that push, pull or pedal some kind of vehicle to earn their living on Brazil's city streets, ON WHEELS BRAZIL establishes a relationship between the wheel's movement and the inconstancy of life itself, primarily for those without stable jobs and who have to create and improvise daily just to survive. D

Carrier  "Rites of Passage"  The last day in the Gulf is the last chance to drop bombs before the Nimitz heads home. The jets take off, laden with ordnance, and return hours later, still carrying the same bombs. As the Nimitz crosses the equator, the entire ship takes part in the Crossing the Line Ceremony, an ancient maritime ritual. D

Carrier  "True Believers"  This episode explores the many expressions of faith onboard the USS Nimitz: faith in self, faith in one's shipmates, faith in the mission of the ship and the president's call to arMs. The major religious groups on board are Catholic and Protestant, but there also is a coven of Wiccans, as well as a Pentecostal group whose newest member is challenged by the duality of his beliefs and the temptations of liberty as the ship drops anchor in Perth, Australia. D
