Eden Fuchs, a former colonel in the Israeli Defense Forces, and Ibrahim Issa, a Palestinian educator, are part of the Center for Emerging Futures, started by a Boise couple.G

Some engineers fear that these towering behemoths are dangerously unstable, and the recent tragedy of the Costa Concordia has raised new questions about their safety. D

Meanwhile, Alan Alda discovers how neuroscience is already influencing the sentencing of defendants - especially young defendants - by revealing how the immature teenage brain is vulnerable to foolish and impulsive acts. Meanwhile biologist Simon Watt tracks whales in the Azores, and evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins marvels at the gigantic teeth that have evolved in the lower jaw of the sperm whale.G
