Outdoor Idaho  "A Sawtooth Celebration"  OUTDOOR IDAHO takes a trip through time and space to examine the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, the first of its kind in Idaho and now celebrating its 40th anniversary. This special show profiles how the SNRA came to be established, the land use controversies that hastened the designation, and the people involved. The show also traces people and projects that contribute to its success, and looks at some of the issues leading into the future.G

Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration   The energetic group brings its mix of traditional Irish, contemporary and original songs to Dublin's Helix Centre to celebrate the holiday season. Singers Chloe, Lisa Meav and Orla and violinist Mairead present familiar standards such as "Silent Night," "White Christmas," "Little Drummer Boy," and "O Come All Ye Faithful." They also include original pieces, "Green the Whole Year Round," a fiddle solo called "In the Bleak Midwinter" and "Christmas Pipes." Great Performances  "Rod Stewart: Merry Christmas, Baby"  The legendary rocker, in his first solo holiday special, presents songs produced by "Hitman" David Foster. Blige and even the late Ella Fitzgerald.G

David Suchet in the Footsteps of St. Paul   The actor, known for his portrayal of Agatha Christie's Poirot, sets out on a personal journey to uncover the story of a man he has longed to depict. Suchet begins in Jerusalem, explores Paul's Damascus conversion road experience and seeks to show how Paul's early life in Tarsus would prepare him for his mission. He visits Antioch where Paul and the fledgling church make the decision to admit Gentiles, and examines Paul's decision to convert the populations in Europe. Part 1 of 2G
