Inside Nature's Giants  "Great White Shark"  In South Africa, experts gather to dissect a 15-foot-long specimen. They gain new insights into the shark's array of senses, the origins of the creature's killing bite, and other biological gifts that make the shark both feared and respected.G

Outdoor Idaho  "Winter Survival"  The Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue Unit makes a dramatic rescue of a hypothermic skier. Then, the program demonstrates how to build snow shelters and fires in winter conditions.G

Dialogue  "Reporters' Roundup 1/26/2012"  This week on Dialogue, host Joan Cartan-Hansen will be joined by two of the state's newspaper editorial writers for this month's Reporter Round up. The guests will look at what's making news in their parts of the state and how things in the state capitol are playing back home. Cartan-Hansen's guests this week are Kevin Richert, editorial page editor, The Idaho Statesman and Corey Taule, editorial page editor, The Idaho Falls Post Register. NOVA  "Ice Age Death Trap"  Contractors in late 2010, while preparing the ground for a new dam at a reservoir near Aspen, Colorado, uncover one of the largest collections of ice age bones found in one place. In May 2011, 37 experts from 18 institutions, other workers and volunteers, unearth more than 4,800 fossils and identify 20 different vertebrate animals, including American mastodon, giant bison, ground sloths, Columbian mammoths, deer, a horse and an ancient camel.G
