Julia Child Memories: Bon Appetit!   PBS presents a retrospective that includes some of the most memorable episodes from Child's classic cooking series, THE FRENCH CHEF: "Bouillabaisse à la Marseillaise," "To Roast A Chicken" and "The Omelette Show." In addition to testimonials from noted chefs, the program features commentary from author Julie Powell, who wrote the book on which the film comedy Julie & Julia is based, and Meryl Streep, who stars as Julia Child.G

Donna Dewberry Show  "Tropical Sunset"  Donna creates a Florida Everglade sunset on canvas, and then stitches up brightly colored nautical pillows. She offers tips for painting palm trees on glassware.G

Joanne Weir's Cooking Confidence  "Magical Morocco"  Joanne shows us just how easily and quickly a deliciously spiced lentil soup can be made when you have the right spices in the pantry. She continues to spice it up with her student John, building a warm Moroccan chicken and sweet potato salad, cooling it off with a cardamom and ginger cocktail she has aptly named the Marrakech 75. Recipes: Spiced Lentil Soup, Warm Moroccan Chicken and Sweet Potato Salad, and Marrakech 75 Cocktail. D

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "Salmon and Sole"  Host Christopher Kimball visits a Boston fishmonger to discover the truth about farm-raised salmon. Then, test cook Julia Collin Davison shows Chris how to make perfect Glazed Salmon. Next, tasting expert Jack Bishop challenges Chris to a tasting of tuna. D

10:30 pm 
Simply Ming  "Dennis Lee & Cooking with the Binchotan"  Sitting by the dock of the bay at San Francisco's Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, Ming shows viewers some of the city's best street food. Gone are the days of hot dogs, pretzels and fried dough. In their place you'll now find restaurant quality food in the form of Korean tacos, wood fired pizzas and Roti. D

11:00 pm 
Joanne Weir's Cooking Confidence  "Fast Forward to Dinner"  With her student Bonnie, Joanne makes us quicker versions of the comfort foods she grew up with in New England, oven-roasted sausages, and a sauerkraut that is so fast she couldn't resist calling it lazy-girl sauerkraut. Recipes: Oven-Roasted Sausages with Riesling, Apples and Pears and Lazy-Girl Sauerkraut. Student: Bonnie Lin, Conference Interpreter. D

11:30 pm 
Rick Steves' Europe  "Paris: Regal and Intimate"  Rick cruises the Seine River, visits Napoleon's tomb, and takes in the Louvre. He also shops in village-like neighborhoods, attends church in a grand pipe organ loft, and celebrates with a big, patriotic Bastille Day bang.G
