Julia Child Memories: Bon Appetit!   PBS presents a retrospective that includes some of the most memorable episodes from Child's classic cooking series, THE FRENCH CHEF: "Bouillabaisse à la Marseillaise," "To Roast A Chicken" and "The Omelette Show." In addition to testimonials from noted chefs, the program features commentary from author Julie Powell, who wrote the book on which the film comedy Julie & Julia is based, and Meryl Streep, who stars as Julia Child.G

Assessment In Math and Science: What's The Point?  "Will This Be on the Test?"  Understanding is more than simply knowing. This workshop sets the stage for the entire series by examining what it means to understand, and explores how teachers can design a set of performance tasks to fairly and accurately assess the levels of understanding that their students have or have not achieved.
