Growing a Greener World  "The Gift of Trees (Atlanta, GA, Mt. Airy, NC & Seattle, WA)"  Unless you're in the dessert, you don't have to look far to see trees. But have we really taken the time to appreciate all they have to offer? From sequestering carbon and releasing oxygen, conserving energy and reducing runoff, they also provide mulch and compost and offer a visual spectacle all throughout the year. You'll never look at a tree the same way again. D

Hey Kids, Let's Cook  "Fruiteroni Pizza"  This is a twist to the usual pizza with all the usual toppings, but we're tossing on some fresh stone fruit. Yes, it's true, a pizza with fresh slices of peaches, plums and pluots. Be ready to shock your taste buds because this combination creates the most amazing and tantalizing flavors coming your way. D

Ciao Italia  "Onions Make The Meal/Le Cipolle Fanno Il Pasto"  Mary Ann visits Guy's garden to harvest a fresh crop of onions for two of her favorite recipes. Then it's nella cucina, where she creates a masterpiece of pastry and vegetables: the Onion Tart. And what do to with those big fat onions? Neapolitan-Style Onions, of course. D

New Scandinavian Cooking  "The South of Norway: Shellfish for Summer"  Host Andreas Viestad visits Blindleia, a favorite holiday destination in Southern Norway. In this summer paradise, he goes fishing for red shrimp and gathers mussels on a bare-faced rock. He makes classic and innovative sauces for the shellfish and then creates a Norwegian-style paella. D

Rick Steves' Europe Classics  "The Alps of France and Switzerland"  Rick begins in Chamonix, France's original alpine resort town. He conquers Mont Blanc with a lift ticket and travels the Glacier Express.G

Grannies On Safari  "Exotic Zanzibar, Tanzania"  The Grannies travel to this truly exotic island that is known for its spice trade, trade winds, historic Arab architecture and romantic resorts. StoneTown, the capital, is a captivating rustic city filled with veiled women, thriving markets and aromatic neighborhoods. The ladies experience an exotic dance performance on the beach, ruins and a meal fit for kings. D

P. Allen Smith's Garden Home  "Framing The View"  Smith considers inviting window treatments and energy efficient windows. He also shows how to frame pressed leaves to make botanical artworks.G

This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 15 of 16"  Landscape contractor Roger Cook oversees the finish going down on the driveway - a thin layer of liquid asphalt and stone that ends up looking like a gravel driveway, without the maintenance. Inside, master electrician Allen Gallant installs a new LED strip light at the old fireplace to give the brick surround a warm glow. Decorative painter Tony Bevilacqua shows host Kevin O'Connor how he created a bright custom canvas wall covering for the new powder room. D
