Secrets of Henry VIII's Palace   Hampton Court Palace reveals the story of two palaces: a Tudor structure, developed by Cardinal Wolsey and later Henry VIII, alongside a baroque palace built by William III and Mary II. Although Henry VIII had more than 60 houses by the second half of his reign, none were more important than this one. All six of his wives came to the palace where the king built, in succession, new quarters for each one. He also provided tennis courts, bowling alleys and pleasure gardens.G

Check out this episode where elementary school students show us how they recycle all of their foam lunch trays. We all know that many schools just don't have the funds to pay for biodegradable products as they usually cost more money. So, we teamed up with these students to learn how they have implemented a way to save money but also found a way to recycle the products they use every day. D

EcoSense for Living  "Green Buildings"  Green Buildings profiles homes, a school and even the third busiest sports and concert venue in the nation to illustrate how energy efficient buildings reduce our carbon footprint in remarkable ways. Atlanta's Phillips Arena was retrofitted with energy efficient systems and it now uses 21% less electricity than other arenas of similar size and the energy the facility saves in one year could power 111 private homes. This episode also profiles Arabia Mountain High School which focuses on environmental learning throughout its curricula using Promethean boards (to reduce paper and enhance learning), outdoor classrooms, and even energy- and water-efficient rest rooms.
