Now it serves the same purpose to a colony of bats. Concern over the possible harm that these latter-day residents may be doing has led to some very interesting hands-on research to study the impact of bat habitats on cultural landmarks. D

Five choral ensembles and the St. Olaf Orchestra - more than 500 student musicians strong - perform a rich repertoire of Christmas compositions, familiar carols and hymns from around the world. This year's performance also debuts newly commissioned works by American composers Andr? J. Thomas and David N. Childs.G

The kids get to play in the snow and slide on a frozen pond for the first time. Cretaceous Conifers - The whole Pteranodon family have fun celebrating Mom's favorite holiday, Winter Solstice. They learn about large conifer (evergreen) trees and help decorate them at a holiday party. D

But they have to hurry, as they soon discover that life as a worm is full of dangers at every turn. Science Concept: Wet objects can be changed by heating and cooling. If a worm is left in the hot sun, their skin will dry up and they will die. D
