Hope Givers   THE HOPE GIVERS follows "voluntourists" from the Indiana-based Ambassadors for Children to Morocco on their extraordinary mission of mercy. This coalition of caring, ordinary Americans journey to the L'Heure Joyeuse clinic half-a-world away, bringing with them food, formula, medicines, toys, hygiene kits, medical equipment and most importantly, hope. During their one-week trip, the group overcomes culture shock, communication barriers, frustration and outrage while visiting destinations off-limits to the typical tourist, including an orphanage in Marrakech. But a 1385 English silver spoon seems less in demand today than in 1998.G

POV  "The Light In Her Eyes"  Houda al-Habash, a conservative Muslim preacher, founded a Qur'an school for girls in Damascus, Syria, 30 years ago where female students studied Islam resulting in a cultural shift with women claiming space within the mosque. This portrait, filmed just before the uprising in Syria, shows a leader who challenges women in her community to live according to Islam, without giving up their dreams.G
