Travel with Kids  "Ireland: The Castles and Cliffs of County Clare"  Known for its rugged limestone rock formations and ancient castles, County Clare offers all sorts of off-the-tourist-track exploration, and the kids are thrilled to discover it all. Explore tall sea cliffs at the famous Cliffs of Moher and head beneath the limestone for an underground adventure in the Aillwee Caves on The Burren. Although the kids may not be as impressed as adults by ancient dolmens, the giant castles of Clare like Knappogue and Bunratty are sure to spark their imagination of days gone-by filled with knights and kings. D

This Old House  "Barrington Project, Part 8 of 10"  Awning specialist Mike Cornell installs a new retractable awning over the deck that should stand up to the weather due to a wind sensor and fade-resistant fabric. Inside, the Saratoga soapstone has arrived, and countertop contractor Alyssa St. Gelais shows host Kevin O'Connor how she's sealing the surface with wax, not oil, to give it a more durable finish that will last longer than an oil application. D

Among the techniques included in this 2-part series are stitching pockets, piping, hems, and zippers, plus many more comparisons between sewing "then and now. D

Best of Simply Painting: Across Europe  "Step Back In Time"  After a visit to historic Ferrycarraig in Wexford, Frank paints a ruined castle. D

Simply Ming  "Sambal & Dijon"  Guest Chef: Andy Husbands. Sambal, a spicy Asian condiment, and Dijon mustard, a classic French favorite, are East-West flavors that have found their way into Ming's favorite dishes. Forget your traditional steak sandwich after Ming puts his spin on the favorite with an "All-In-One" creation: Sliced Hanger Steak and Onion Hoagie. D

Lidia's Italy In America  "USA: Oh, Those Ravioli"  Lidia heads north to Boston, where she takes viewers on a sweet trip to two Boston pastry shops: Modern Pasty and Maria's Pastry, and ventures into Boston's Little Italy to see pasta made by hand. Down in New Jersey, Lidia checks out Simply Grazin' Organic Farm. In the kitchen, Lidia prepares Ricotta and Sausage-Filled Ravioli and Struffoli, an Italian-American classic, for dessert. D
