Then, up on the roof deck, he lends a hand as Tom creates a staggered shingle pattern on the half walls to match what is on the existing house. D

Ask This Old House  "Installing a Privacy Fence/Replacing a Clogged Shower Valve"  Landscape contractor Roger Cook works with a fencing contractor to install a vinyl privacy fence. Then, Roger, along with host Kevin O'Connor, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey and general contractor Tom Silva, asks, "What Is It?" Afterward, Richard replaces a clogged shower valve. D

Rough Cut - Woodworking with Tommy Mac  "Carved Frame"  Everyone has a family heirloom or photograph that needs a special display and on today's episode of Rough Cut, Tommy builds a beautiful Mahogany Frame with Hand-Carved Lettering. For inspiration, he heads down to Newport's historic seaport to visit one of the world's most famous sailing vessels The Coronet. And back at the shop, his good friend and master woodcarver, Sten Havumaki, will join him to offer up some letter carving tips. D
