Children of the trapeze group win the championship heroically after conquering a number of difficulties. The handstand group gives up the contest because of the training fatigue. D

Circus Dreams   Step into the world of Circus Smirkus, the only traveling youth circus in the United States. Follow a group of talented teens, ages 12 to 18, as they audition, rehearse and take to the road for a summer of performances. There are comments from many of the 27 kids with the circus but the film closely follows a 12-year-old dancer/aerialist, a shy stick-juggling boy, and two girl clowns.G

Dreamers Theater   The uplifting performance documentary DREAMERS THEATER follows a group of cognitively challenged teens and young adults as they rehearse and stage the original musical, Assuming Assumptions. The play dramatizes the issues faced by individuals with special needs in the hopes of increasing awareness about this population and their capabilities. Members of this Richmond, Va. D
