Idaho Experience  "We Sagebrush Folks: Annie Pike Greenwood's Idaho"  Using newly found primary sources never seen by the public, producer Marcia Franklin brings to life the Idaho writer Annie Pike Greenwood, who was heralded during her time but ended up in relative obscurity. Greenwood penned "We Sagebrush Folks," a chronicle of her struggles as a farmer's wife and teacher in Hazelton, Idaho, in the early 1900s. In contrast to myth-making descriptions of pioneer life, the memoir shines a light on the hard reality of farming in the newly irrigated "Eden" of southern Idaho, describing concerns rarely discussed until recent decades, including depression and abuse. It also contains beautiful passages about Idaho. The documentary also takes viewers inside the aging and mysterious Greenwood School, named after the writer.G

Rough Cut with Fine Woodworking   What does it take to make a tilt-top table? This week on Rough Cut with Fine Woodworking, host Tom McLaughlin shares his design for a Shaker-inspired table made out of curly maple and takes a deep-dive into explaining the tilt-top mechanism that makes this piece so unique. The table has a pedestal base which attaches to the top with a turned column which Tom shapes at the lathe. He also uses the band saw to shape and refine the feet, making this project engaging in its use of numerous techniques. D

Can You Dig It? - Today, Nature Cat and his pals look to answer question number 73 on Nature Cat's Nature Curiosity List: if they keep digging a hole deeper and deeper, where will they end up? With the help of Daisy's homemade Earthbreaker One machine and their imaginations, our gang goes onward and downward, through the earth, and winds up somewhere very surprising. D

Call It a Night - While playing flashlight tag at night, Nature Cat's hat falls off his head onto the ground, and then surprises everyone by scattering off into the dark night! An already scared Nature Cat is now sad, worried that he will never wear his beloved Nature Cat hat again! They'll never be able to find it, it's so dark! Squeeks comes to the rescue with a great idea: to act like other nighttime animals and use some of their other senses to find it. D

When the gang sets out to discover who is causing all the trouble, they discover that certain animals gravitate towards human habitation because it provides food and protection from predators. D

With bat activated Creature Power Suits, the bros follow join their new friend on a nocturnal fly about, and the entire crew must come to the rescue when the bat colony's roost is destroyed by a lightning bolt. In the end the Wild Kratts crew "goes batty," as they gain a new appreciation for bat ecology, predators and insects and echolocation, and learn to love bats. D

Dad takes the kids on the Dinosaur Train to find Sana Sanajeh, who may be huge, but turns out to be quite friendly. Once Shiny and Sana become friends, Shiny returns home with the knowledge that snakes aren't scary - they're just another part of nature! Tiny is horrified when her favorite buttercups all wilt, so Mom takes her and the family to the Big Pond, where she remembers seeing a whole lot of buttercups in bloom. D

Dinosaur Train  "Carla Cretoxyrhina/Train Trouble"  Carla Cretoxyrhina - On this underwater excursion, the Pteranodon family meets up with Carla Cretoxyrhina, a young shark who turns out to be much nicer than her reputation suggests. She introduces the family to her dad, bringing them face to face with the "Big Fish in the Sea." Train Trouble - The speedy dinosaur brothers Oren and Ollie join our kids on a train trip to Troodon Town, but unplanned engine trouble sends Oren and Ollie sprinting the Roundhouse to bring back another engine to save the day!. Splash and Bubbles  "Deflated Dunk/Kelp Forest Keepers"  Tired of always being the "nervous friend," Dunk decides he will no longer puff up or get upset.
