Masterpiece Classic  "The 39 Steps"  Based on John Buchan's 1915 thriller popularized by Alfred Hitchcock's 1935 movie, this production stars Rupert Penry-Jones ("Persuasion") as secret agent Richard Hannay, who battles German spies on the eve of World War I. Lydia Leonard ("Jericho") co-stars as suffragette Victoria Sinclair, his unlikely accomplice. Recently returned from South Africa, adventurer Hannay finds himself wanted by the British police for a murder he did not commit and by German agents for the knowledge the victim shared with him.G

Into the Deep: America, Whaling & the World: American Experience  "Into the Deep, Whaling & the World"  Filmmaker Ric Burns tells an epic tale of three centuries of American whaling and the unique relationship between the hunter and the hunted, which begins in earnest in 1690 among the Quakers on Nantucket Island. The film explores two events that anchor whaling in the American consciousness. The Essex is rammed and sunk off the coast of Peru in 1820 by a sperm whale as long as the ship itself. Only eight sailors survive. In 1840, Herman Melville ships out on a whaling vessel that meets another vessel near where the Essex sank. The son of an Essex survivor gives Melville a copy of his father's memoir, which inspires Moby Dick.G

As he's sworn in as secretary of state under President Reagan, the war in Lebanon presents a dangerous diplomatic challenge. D

The administration continues to be concerned with the Nicaraguan Contras and with the release of hostages in Iran. As Reagan is sworn in for his second term, Shultz works to set up a summit meeting with the new Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev. D

The vexatious villain is only too happy to take advantage of the situation: If he can convince the dejected Digit that he is his one true friend, he can reprogram the cyboid to gain access to Motherboard! The FETCHers head off to the village, and then undergo a series of elimination trials to retrieve the Helmet. The FETCHer who finds the Helmet will be the Season IV FETCH Grand Champion! But will the Helmet of Victory really make Ruff victorious?. D
