Portraits of Emotion   Portraits of Emotion is a feature length documentary film that follows over the course of four years the life of 14-year-old Jonathan Lerman, an artistic prodigy who is diagnosed with autism, a lifelong developmental disability that affects learning, communication and social interaction. While capable of drawing astonishing portraits that capture the nuances of human emotion, Jonathan is unable to effectively verbally communicate his feelings. By giving the audience an in-depth look inside Jonathan's life, Portraits of Emotion builds awareness about the effects that autism has on a family over time. D

Travelscope  "Switzerland - Celebrating St. Moritz"  For hundreds of years St. Moritz has been a Swiss resort with the emphasis on "the Ritz" -- a place where the royal, wealthy and famous can recreate in luxury and where the term "Champagne Climate" refers to more than the 300 plus days of sunshine each year. Allen Smith's Garden Home  "Adding Charm"  Allen visits Oregon's Cascade Mountains where he learns about fresh greenery used during the holidays and how 1 million acres of Christmas trees add oxygen to the environment. Ask This Old House  "Installing a Manual Transfer Switch; Fixing a Clogged Sewer Line"  Host Kevin O'Connor and electrician Scott Caron travel to Annapolis, Maryland, to install a manual transfer switch for a portable generator. Then Kevin, along with general contractor Tom Silva, landscape contractor Roger Cook and plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey, asks, "What is it?" Afterward, Richard heads to Dallas to fix a sewer line that is clogged with tree roots. D

Theater Talk  "The Best of Theater Talk: John Heilpern On John Osborne"  Critic and columnist John Heilpern (Vanity Fair) discusses the life and work of the groundbreaking British playwright John Osborne (1929-1994), the subject of Heilpern's outstanding and critically-acclaimed biography, John Osborne: The Many Lives of the Angry Young Man. Osborne transformed the British theater with his 1956 play Look Back in Anger (now being revived in NYC at The Roundabout Theatre). He became one of England's most revered and successful writers, all the while suffering from bouts of depression, self-destructive drinking and hidden anguish. D
