The program visits Idaho to discuss the commercial growth of the potato, which was originally domesticated in Peru more than 8,000 years ago.G

Nature  "Salmon: Running The Gauntlet"  Idaho filmmaker Jim Norton follows the Pacific Northwest salmon run from the Columbia River Basin into the heart of Idaho to examine the difficulties the fish faces as it tries to establish the next generation. The film examines expensive projects that seek to preserve the species and where they are failing. Idahoans featured are Greg Servvheen, Idaho Fish and Game biologist, and Jerry Myers, Upper Salmon project manager for Trout Unlimited.G

Then, back at the house, landscape designer Jenn Nawada lends a hand as Roger builds raised beds out of fieldstone from the old foundation, and Becky plants the first vegetables for her family. D
