Visionaries, The  "There Is Enough for All, Part 2/What Is A Refugee?"  The first and second episodes of the Visionaries will feature the work of Church World Service, a global humanitarian agency working to eradicate hunger and poverty in the world. Church World Service is a global humanitarian agency supported by 37 Protestant, Orthodox, and Anglican churches that came together to do what none of them could do alone: deliver relief, provide refugee assistance, respond to disasters, and give people the opportunity to take the lead in addressing their own concerns. What is a Refugee? - The UN defines a refugee as someone who has been forced to flee his or her country because of persecution, war, or violence. D

Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "A Bluebird's Paradise, Part 2"  Jerry begins painting in the connecting limb with a #2 bristle brush making sure to achieve tapered limbs and to create soft edges. Trees are highlighted, the birdhouse is blocked in, along with the roof and supporting post. Blocking in the under painting with proper value is necessary to provide the color to allow the highlighted color to fully show the form of the trees, the bark of the tree limb and the rough texture of the birdhouse wood. D

Tom installs a replica ceiling medallion made using a 3D printer; then he installs a custom copper vent hood. Richard selects the right garbage disposer at a local home center. D

Ask This Old House  "Replacing Outdated Fluorescent Under Cabinet Lights/Working With Concrete"  Electrician Scott Caron replaces outdated fluorescent under-cabinet lights with new LED fixtures.
