Smart Travels - Europe with Rudy Maxa  "A Music Lover's Europe"  For a totally different view of Europe, Rudy shows smart travelers how to organize a trip around a theme. Rudy discovers surprising and fresh takes on Europe as he sets out on a music lover's tour. Winning, live performances by the Sicilian folk band Diascouri, and by Groupo Emiliano, a zany, classically-trained quartet from Emilia Romagna, are the backbone of this offbeat trip. D

The Desert Speaks  "Wyoming's Red Desert"  Host David Yetman hops into a 50-year-old BMW motorcycle sidecar to explore Wyoming's mysterious Red Desert, one of the least known and most threatened deserts in North America. Also called the "Great American Desert," this eight-million-acre area has vast and varying landscapes including the largest active sand dune system in North America and the Great Divide Basin - the only place in the United States where the Continental Divide splits before rejoining. It is also steeped in history and fable, with ties to the Oregon Trail and the gold rush, as well as its share of ghost towns. D

Ciao Italia  "Sicilian Pizza/Sfincione"  You can't travel to Sicily without enjoying its trademark flatbread treat, Sfingione. But if you can't be there in body, be there in spirit when Mary Ann shows you an easy way to prepare this doughy treat studded with sardines, chunks of Scamorza cheese, spicy tomato sauce, topped with bread crumbs and baked in the oven. Joining it there is a Pizza with Artichoke Hearts and Salted Ricotta Cheese. D

Taste of History  "18th Century Animals"  The variety of livestock we see on farms today differs significantly from the ones that were common during the Revolutionary Era. Modern techniques have plumped animals up and induced them to grow much more quickly. But an effort is underway at Colonial Williamsburg to get back to those original breeds. D

Simply Ming  "Dennis Lee & Cooking with the Binchotan"  Sitting by the dock of the bay at San Francisco's Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, Ming shows viewers some of the city's best street food. Gone are the days of hot dogs, pretzels and fried dough. In their place you'll now find restaurant quality food in the form of Korean tacos, wood fired pizzas and Roti. D

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "A Slow and Easy Thanksgiving"  Test cook Becky Hays uncovers the secrets to a slow and easy Thanksgiving with Braised Turkey and makes Bread Stuffing for a crowd. And finally, equipment expert Adam Ried reviews oven thermometers in the Equipment Corner. D

Around The House with Matt and Shari  "Flea Market Finds"  We find our best stuff at flea markets, garage sales and Goodwill! Today we'll show you what we've found and how we are using it! We begin with a survival guide for successful flea market shopping. Then, Shari makes candle sticks from chair legs. Next, meet an artist that specializes in creating unique outdoor art from soldered, old tools. D

Austin City Limits  "Coldplay"  The Grammy-winners and modern-rock giants have sold more than 50 million records worldwide. They perform their hits and selections from their album Mylo Xyloto.G

Sesame Street  "Baby Bear Comes Clean"  Baby Bear is ready to go to Granny's house with Papa Bear. He has a nice, white shirt on that Papa Bear tells him to keep clean while he gets his sister dressed. While Baby Bear waits for them to get ready, Telly passes by with a bright purple ice cream cone in his hand. D

Dinosaur Train  "Confuciusornis Says/Tiny's Tiny Doll"  Confuciusornis Says - The next stop on the World Tour takes the Pteranodons to Confuciusornis Gardens to visit a very wise, old dinosaur. They try some new foods, and learn to meditate, leaving them with their own enlightening mountain-top experience. Tiny's Tiny Doll - During the Pteranodons' World Tour, Tiny mistakenly leaves her favorite Tiny-Doll behind at Velociraptor Valley. D

Super Why!  "The Swiss Family Robinson"  Little Boy Blue is stuck on a little island in Storybrook Pond and can't get back to shore. Super Why and his friends head into the story of The Swiss Family Robinson to meet a family who is just as stranded as Little Boy Blue. They'll need to use what's around them to survive in this do-it-yourself island adventure! Educational Objectives: To learn to think creatively in tricky situations. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Jumping on the Moon/Sneezy Riders"  Jumping on the Moon - Nick and Sally are trying to jump high enough to touch the moon, but "what goes up must come down" says the Cat. That's gravity! And to show them just what gravity is, that means a trip to the moon! That's where they meet Astronaut Audrey who takes them for a space walk to learn all about gravity. Sneezy Riders - Sally and Nick are playing hide and seek, but Nick keeps sneezing! How can they stop it from happening? Good thing Cat's friend Cluey Looey will be able to help them! At Muddyfeet Waterhole they discover that Louie is having the same problem! Nothing a trip inside Louie's nose can't solve! Inside a super shrunken Thingamajigger, Nick, Sally and Cat discover what causes sneezing and what they can do to avoid it from happening!. D

Wild Kratts  "Elephant in the Room"  The brothers come across a lone baby elephant and bring him back to the Tortuga HQ for safety until they can find his mom. But they learn how mischievous baby elephants can be and get more than they bargained for when it almost destroys the Tortuga! As they rush to get the baby elephant home, the WildKratts team realizes that animals have different structures that serve various functions in growth and survival. And an elephant's trunk is like the multipurpose tool of "creature features" with hundreds of uses, including: showering, blasting water, grabbing, lifting, communicating, "hearing", pushing and pulling. Sara's Weeknight Meals  "Carnivores Unite!"  We get it: most of America runs on beef, pork and chicken. So today, Sara's got meat and lots of it. Sara marries the juicy burger marries with Korean barbecue for her special Korean Burgers. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Little Europe: San Marino, Monaco, Vatican City, Liechtenstein, and Andorra"  Vatican City, the world's smallest country, comes with the planet's biggest church. He also visits the fairytale princedom of Monaco, Italy's last independent hill town of San Marino, castle-guarded principality of Liechtenstein, and tiny Andorra.G

The Red Green Show  "The Dandruff Foundation"  The men find a charity for the Lodge to affiliate with as a way of avoiding tax and receiving government grants. Red makes a device to automatically clear snow from a driveway.G
