Nature  "Wild Balkans"  The jagged contours of middle Europe with its thick forests, vast wetlands and deep chasms have thrown long, dark shadows over the history of the peninsula. It is as if the bloody history of the Balkans themselves conspired to conceal its natural wonders. The landscape is still untouched, and in it are wild animals that have all but vanished from the rest of Europe.G

Wild!  "Peculiar Primate: Tarsier"  Witness the alien-like Tarsier in their natural habitat and discover why the world's oldest primate may soon simply disappear. D

Martin Clunes: Horse Power  "The Servant and the Symbol"  Clunes watches his horse run at a Sussex racecourse, experiences how Britain uses horses for pomp and ceremony, heads to Italy to learn about the 800-year-old Palio horse race, and checks out a knight's armor. Clunes also seeks out ranch and rodeo horses in the western United States, and visits tribes in Central Asia where the culture is reliant on the horse. Part 2 of 2G

Equitrekking  "Great American Ranches"  Equitrekking takes a look at how geography and history of ranches in Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, Alberta, Texas, Maui and the Big Island influence their present workings. Interviewing ranch owners and cowboys who have chosen to hold fast to their traditions and Western culture, Darley learns about running a ranch, while also seeing some of the beautiful wild terrain. D

8:30 pm 
Equitrekking  "Vermont"  Equitrekking host Darley Newman visits the Mountain Top Inn outside of Killington to explore the area's Green Mountains trails and learn the art of driving with two large Clydesdales. At the Vermont Icelandic Horse Farm, Darley experiences the smooth gaits of the Icelandic horse on a multi-day inn-to-inn ride through meadows, woods and old farm lands in the Mad River Valley. Next, Darley visits the University of Vermont's Morgan Horse Farm to learn about Vermont's state animal and UVM's historic breeding program, which dates back to 1878. D
