Travelscope  "West Virginia - Wild and Wonderful"  In the New River Gorge Joseph paddles the gentle New River and then battles to stay afloat on the raging Gauley. Along the way he bikes up a mountain trail, rappels down the gorge's face and experiences West Virginia's coal mining past. D

Equitrekking  "Spain"  Equitrekking host Darley Newman rides at Cortijo El Esparragal, an estate and working farm outside of Seville that dates back to the Bronze Age. On prize-winning Andalusians, Darley learns the purpose and history of the Spanish Vaquera style of riding. Next, she enjoys a sunset ride outside of Segovia and visits the castles and Roman aqueducts in this central region. D

She visits Thistle Meats and McEvoy Ranch in Petaluma, California, and then Joanne and her student Joan will make skillet riblettes with aged balsamic and warm grilled potato salad with fennel. Taste of Louisiana with Chef John Folse & Company: Hooks, Lies & Alibis  "Catfish - Lake Des Allemand"  In this episode, John travels to Lake Des Allemand, east of New Orleans where he learns the methods of catching catfish from German descendants. John's nephew Jay and his daughter Allie, teach John the hoop net method of catching fish and then have a good old fashion catfish fry. Back on the White Oaks Dock, John's guest is Don Dubuc, famous local outdoorsman and host of a TV and radio show for the last 20 years. D
