Mike Colemeco's Real Food  "Racines/Wine Disciples"  Two restaurants that are wine lovers paradise, both affiliated with wine shop. Racine's is linked to Chambers St Wines down the block, spot on French inspired menu and an amazing selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Wine Disciples is a store right next to a restaurant, here the cooking is American / Italian, ingredient driven and the wine list by glass and bottle is wonderful. D

Annabel Langbein: The Free Range Cook  "A French Country Table"  Annabel Langbein visits her neighbor's hazelnut orchard in New Zealand's Central Otago for the fall harvest, cooking up a rib-sticking pea and ham soup and a spiced apple cake for lunch. On the menu that night are artichokes fresh from the garden, chicken and leek gratin, and individual pear and hazelnut tarts. Rick Steves' Europe  "Southeast England"  Arcing along the southeast coast of England, Rick travels from Canterbury (with its famous cathedral) to Dover (stoutly fortified from Roman times to the Battle of Britain). Then he hikes the trails that top the towering chalk cliffs of the South Downs, wander into the beachy resort of Brighton (England's Coney Island), and push on to Portsmouth, whose naval heritage has left it with the best collection of historic sailing ships anywhere.
