Cyberchase  "Trash Creep"  Perfectamundo isn't so perfect anymore - the trash is out of control! A giant garbage heap threatens to break through the cybersite's dome, and the CyberSquad must become garbologists in order to reduce the rubbish. Hacker, meanwhile, is digging through the very same heap for some mistakenly discarded seeds that will allow him to grow an army of monster plants to take over Cyberspace. Will he find the seeds before the Perfectamundians solve their trash problem? Or is the dome doomed?. D

Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "Mama's Pride, Part 2"  Having completed the background painting Jerry begins the highlighting process starting with the orange detail on the head. Next the body hairs are applied using the dry brush blending technique to the body by highlighting on the right side and following the contour of the body to create softness and roundness with each stroke. Next the baby is blocked in and detailed highlights are added with the understanding that the final step of adding the falling snow and wintry wind eliminates the need for great detail that might be normally be required. D

Making Meaning In Literature: A Workshop for Teachers, Grades 6-8  "Workshop 8. Planning and Professional Development"  In order to grow in their careers, teachers need a great deal of sustenance. In this program, the teachers talk about the ways in which they fulfill this need as they develop individually and as members of a professional community. The group invites us into their classrooms to look at the way they have grown professionally, stimulated by their peers, their membership in professional organizations, and their willingness to seek out new thinking on literature and teaching literature. D
