Broadway Or Bust  "And The Winner Is ..."  The show at New York's Minskoff Theatre is about to begin. During the first half of the show all 60 finalists perform in ensemble with judges giving scores to the leading performers based on the group performances and individual medleys. Then, the top six contenders perform their solos, leading to the judge's announcement of the male and female who take home the Jimmy Awards.G

Outdoor Idaho  "Salmon River Lodges and Legacies"  This special travels the Salmon River, stopping each night at a historic lodge to meet the people, who continue in the footsteps of hearty pioneers in the wild heart of Idaho. Each stop reveals a rich history. Rafters, guides, boat operators and residents all reveal how they are drawn to the river repeatedly - or permanently.G

Sesame Street  "Baby Bear Comes Clean"  Baby Bear is ready to go to Granny's house with Papa Bear. He has a nice, white shirt on that Papa Bear tells him to keep clean while he gets his sister dressed. While Baby Bear waits for them to get ready, Telly passes by with a bright purple ice cream cone in his hand. D

Martha Speaks  "Monkeyshines Martha/Dog Daze"  Monkeyshines Martha - Helen's hefty schoolwork load leaves her with little time left to spend with Martha. At loose ends, Martha finds a friend in Professor Monkey, whose wacky inventions propel Martha into a world of new adventures. Vocabulary: (E) relie(f)(ve), genius, unwind, cherish, pressure. D

Super Why!  "Dr. Dolittle"  Red's adorable new puppy is whimpering and whining and she just doesn't know why! So Super Why, Wonder Red, Alpha Pig and Princess Presto ask the advice of a boy who understands what animals need because he can talk to them! But will Dolittle be able to look after all his pets once the fur and feathers settle? Educational Objectives: To learn about caring for animals, explore spelling, rhyme with ACK words, and use the power to read to change the story. D

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood  "Something Special for Dad/I Love You, Mom"  Something Special for Dad - Daniel notices how happy Dad is to have received a letter from Grandpere. Daniel really loves Dad, so he decides to send him a letter that will make him glad too. He goes to the Post Office with Mom, where he learns how letters are sorted and mailed. D

WordWorld  "Snug As A Bug/Nightlight"  Snug as a Bug: Frog helps insomniac Bug figure out the end of the rhyme "snug as a bug in a ." so that Bug can sleep. Nightlight: The rest of Word World is trying to sleep, but Bear is keeping everyone awake with her all-night racket. D

When he encounters Allie selling fresh apple cider, he trades his cart for a gallon, but later regrets his decision. He offers to trade a jar of sauerkraut to Allie in return for the cart, but Allie already traded it to Vicki. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "A Tale About Tails/Sticky Situation"  A Tale About Tails - Nick and Sally are playing "Tape the Tail on the Donkey" when they wish they had tails of their own! Well it just so happens that the Cat knows a lot about tails! He brings them to the Jungle of Wagga-Tag-Tail where they meet a number of animals with very different tails. When Nick and Sally get to test out all of these tails for themselves, they learn that different tails can do different things! Sticky Situation - Sally and Nick are playing the drums on overturned buckets when Nick breaks his drumstick! Luckily, the Cat knows someone who is a stick expert, his friend Betty Beaver! She finds Nick the perfect drumstick, but when her dam springs a leak, Nick, Sally and the Cat help her fix it, using Nick's new stick. He doesn't have a stick anymore, but Nick learns an even better way to drum: using a home-made beaver tail!. D

Super Why!  "George and the Dragon"  FE FI FO FUM! The Giant has stepped on Pig's toy, and he's scared to ask for it back! The super readers venture into a classic tale to meet intrepid Knight George, who is about to face his own fears and battle a dragon to rescue a princess! But it turns out that George isn't quite so brave, and needs a little help.from an unexpected source! Educational Objectives: To learn to appreciate where you're from. Kids will experiment with the alphabet, celebrate spelling and use the power to read to change the story. D

Dinosaur Train  "Pteranodon Family World Tour/Gilbert The Junior Conductor"  Pteranodon Family World Tour - The entire Pteranodon family embarks on a roaring, exploring, World Tour adventure! They meet the Conductor's nephew, Gilbert, who takes them on a tour to meet Martin Amargasaurus, a spine spangled quadruped with an intimidating sail. Gilbert the Junior Conductor - The Pteranodon family is on a World Tour and get to sleep in a special Sleeping Car on the Dinosaur Train. During their first full day on the Train, the kids are super excited to play with Gilbert, the Conductor's nephew. D

The Electric Company  "Wordball Games"  Right before the yearly Wordball Games, the neighborhood Olympics, Hector sprains his ankle. With Hector unable to compete, The Electric Company does not have enough players to participate against the four Pranksters! But when Manny also gets hurt, the numbers are even once again. Now the question is, can Marcus handle Hector's event the Word Obstacle course?. D

Wild Kratts  "Falcon City"  The Kratt brothers are itching to fly with the world's fastest animal, the Peregrine falcon, which can hit top speeds of 240 mph. But their efforts are side-tracked when the rest of the Wild Kratts team challenges them to find the falcon in the city instead of in the wild, and Chris' Creature Power Suit is accidentally activated with Pigeon Powers ! But then they discover that Zach is sending his Zachbots to clean off a building that has a peregrine falcon nests with chicks! Martin and Chris must activate their Peregrine falcons powers and harness the force of gravity to pull off a high flying creature rescue!. D

Dirks was in Boise to visit a retail outlet, previously a Ten Thousand Villages store but is now independent. Since the interview, Dirks has been named the CEO of Ten Thousand Villages.G

Passport to Adventure  "Patagonia, Chile - Condors, Lakes and Glaciers in Aysen"  Our journey continues in the southern part of the region, where glaciers loom over crystal clear lakes, cows graze beneath snow-covered peaks, and fly-fishermen come in search of their nirvana. Julie kayaks through magnificent marble caves, hikes on a glacier, shares "mate" with the local fishermen, and enjoys pisco sours with an interesting mix of innkeepers. D

Sierra Center Stage  "Marcia Ball"  Marcia Ball is an anomaly in the world of piano-based R& B/blues/boogie. A keyboardist who was steeped in and absorbed all the rich traditions of New Orleans, the Austin-based singer-songwriter was nominated for a Grammy Award for a CD release of this Sierra Center Stage program. Her album, "So Many Rivers" won the 2004 Blues Music Award for "Contemporary Blues Album of the Year" as well as the coveted "Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year" award. D

Live From Lincoln Center  "The Philharmonic Opening Gala with Itzhak Perlman"  Join the excitement of the gala that marks the beginning of the 2012-13 season with violinist Itzhak Perlman and conductor Alan Gilbert. Showpieces for violin and orchestra include music by Massenet, John Williams and Sarasate. The orchestra also performs Respighi's Fountains of Rome and Pines of Rome.G

Placido Domingo: Greatest Living Tenor   Legendary tenor Placido Domingo sits down with Rick Reiff for a wide-ranging interview. He discusses his storied career, his "friendly" rivalry with Luciano Pavarotti, the future of opera and, at age 71, how long he plans to keep singing. He talks a little LA Lakers basketball, too. D
