Globe Trekker  "Tough Boats: The Arctic"  Globe Trekker Ian Wright travels to the high Arctic from the coast of northern Norway, working his passage on a trawler fishing for cod before continuing his voyage on a specially ice-strengthened vessel around Spitsbergen, the world's northernmost inhabited islands. Ian's tough Arctic journey starts in fishing port of Tromso, more than 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle. From here, aboard the fishing trawler Hermes, he travels another 300 miles north to rich fishing ground near remote Bear Island. D

Oregon Experience  "The River They Saw"  The beauty and magic of the Columbia River Gorge has attracted photographers for more than 150 years. The River They Saw chronicles the history of the Gorge with rarely seen images crafted by Carleton Watkins, Sarah Ladd, Benjamin Gifford, Al Monner and many others. These early photographers left a stunning visual legacy through images still considered among the greatest landscape photos ever made.G

Joseph Rosendo's Travelscope  "Mekong River Adventure - Part 2"  Part two of Joseph's Mekong River journey through Cambodia and Vietnam finds him in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh where he embarks on a tuk-tuk tour of the city's highlights. He visits the royal palace with its stupas, pagodas and pavilions and pays homage to the country's spiritual heritage, as well as its colonial past. In local markets and restaurants where the fare can range from lobsters to tarantulas, he learns how, with the help of foreign NGOs, the country is recovering from its devastating Khmer Rouge history of war and ruin.
