The Truly Living Well Center for Natural Urban Agriculture has become a model for local sustainable food systems across the country. They not only grow certified food at five farm sites within the city, but also teach people how to grow food themselves. D

Cyberchase  "Penguin Tears"  Hacker's secret quest continues, with the nefarious `borg on the hunt for the next piece of his mysterious machine. His search for the legendary Prism of Penguia takes him to snowy Cyberia. While trying to stop Hacker, Digit and the kids are trapped in an icy cave and must master the principles of bouncing in order to break out. D

They transform a cardigan into several styles, mix and match features of a magic dress with new sleeve options, and add unique closures and pockets to a coat pattern for carefree styling. D

In addition to his town adventures, his journey takes him from one natural area to another in hot pursuit of Australia's wildlife where he has close encounters with kangaroos, koalas and emus. D

Martha Stewart's Cooking School  "Pork"  There's no end to the number of impressive dishes you can make with pork. In this episode, Martha makes porchetta, highly seasoned roasted pork with soft, juicy meat and crisp, crackling skin. Next she demonstrates a centerpiece of her holiday table, glazed ham. D

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "Serving Up Noodles and Rice"  Test cook Julia Collin Davison shows host Christopher Kimball how to make the best Japanese-style stir- fried noodles with beef at home. Then, equipment expert Adam Ried reviews knife sharpeners in the Equipment Corner. Next, Chris answers cooking questions in Letters to the Editor. D

Chef's Life  "One Potato, New Potato"  Join Vivian to judge the Southern Sides competition at the BBQ Festival, and see her version of the BBQ plate, featuring a crispy potato salad. When the Avett Brothers stop by the restaurant, the entire staff serves up a side of girly giddiness. D

Lucky Chow  "Chinatown, Reimagined"  Track the evolution of Chinese food in America through the lens of two third-generation Chinese-American restaurateurs. Wilson Tang preserves the legacy of his family's dim sum parlor (America's oldest) while opening a fine-dining Chinese restaurant on Chinatown's expanding Lower East Side. Ed Schoenfeld, a self-proclaimed Chinese food expert and owner of one of the most critically acclaimed Chinese restaurants in New York, provides a tutorial on Peking duck preparation. D

Get Ready to Rio! with Chef Hubert Keller  "Carioca Favorites"  Chef Keller meets Rio-born cookbook author, Leticia Moreinos Schwartz at the beautiful Ipanema Beach for a run and juice stop. Afterwards, they head to Rio's famous pedestrian mall for a tour of Confeitaria Columbo, one of the most elegant teahouses in the world. Then it is an introduction to Brazil's most famous and beloved dish of all: Feijoada, a delicious meat and black bean stew. D
