Live From Lincoln Center  "One Singular Sensation: Celebrating Marvin Hamlisch"  The New York Philharmonic rings in 2013 with this celebration of the life and work of Marvin Hamlisch. The late composer-conductor was scheduled to conduct this concert before his death in August. Guest star appearances include violinist Joshua Bell, Raul Esparza (Company), Michael Feinstein, Maria Friedman, Josh Groban, Megan Hilty, Audra McDonald, Kelli O'Hara and Frederica Von Stade.G

Downton Abbey Revisited   This special presents some favorite scenes from the series' seasons 1 and 2 to savor before Season 3 begins in January. Key actors and creative staff tell their stories of the depiction of life on an English country estate from 1912 into the 1920s. There are also behind-the-scenes footage and a sneak peak at what is yet to come.G

Independent Lens  "Men Who Swim"  In 2009, Sweden's all-male synchronized swimming team, inspired by classical techniques used by 1950s-era swimmer Esther Williams, entered the first international championship for the sport. The move would require increased training for what started as a weekly escape from the daily grind - and in a year several of them turned 40.G

Diana Ross: for One and for All   In 1983 before an audience of thousands of fans in New York's Central Park, the singer gives an all-out performance, even braving a downpour until lightning ends that day's performance. The next day, Diana Ross and her fans return and she performs the entire concert again. Andy Warhol, who attended the storm-tossed concert, said, "The sky darkened and the rain came and it was the most incredible thing I've ever seen. Just the event of the century - her hair blowing and soaking wet ... it was like a dream, like a hallucination, watching this spectacle."G
