Your Vote 2012: The Social Climate
Amid fevered debate about the legalization of Gay Marriage; the existence of a "post-racial" American society; and the future of the Death Penalty; this program will seek to frame the election through the prism of changing societal attitudes. In a state where the death penalty is no longer on-the-books, are Crime and Punishment important battleground issues? And in a predominantly "white" state, how are America's massive demographic changes (more Latinos now being born daily than whites) playing out on the hustings?. D
