Trillin came to Idaho to speak to the Idaho Humanities Council.G

Globe Trekker  "West Texas"  In the state capital of Austin, Zay Harding explores everything from rattlesnake hotdogs to bingo with chickens. He checks out the Alamo at San Antonio, spends a night in a haunted hotel and travels to El Paso where he treks into the desert along the old Butterfield trail. He follows Route 66 in a 1960s Mustang and competes in Amarillo's steak-eating challenge.G

"Both guitarists are immensely gifted composers, with a masterful grasp of both melody and harmony to say nothing of their phenomenal technique. D

Austin City Limits  "The Head and the Heart/Gomez"  From Seattle, Washington, the Head and the Heart indie rock group performs tunes from its self-titled debut album. Then British veterans Gomez follow with eclectic modern rock.G

Stagestruck: Confessions from Summer Stock   STAGESTRUCK: CONFESSIONS FROM SUMMER STOCK takes a nostalgic look back at the 26-year history of America's first summer stock theater, the Orleans Arena Theatre on Massachusetts' Cape Cod. The one-hour documentary uses dramatic re-enactments, historical photos and engaging interviews with past members to capture the day-to-day challenges and joys of the summer stock experience. Beginning in 1950 and lasting until 1976, temperamental young actors and actresses would live together, work for pennies and do odd jobs in pursuit of refining their craft and creating a professional theatrical production each week. D

Infinity Hall Live  "Keb' Mo'"  Contemporary blues musician and three-time Grammy winner Keb' Mo' takes the stage alongside his band of top musicians. With Les Falconer III on drums, Vail Johnson on bass, Michael Hicks on keyboards, Kevin So on keyboards and guitar and Jeff Paris on guitar, mandolin and harmonica, the band's full sound and Mo's incomparable blues style engulf the elated audience. Keb' Mo' - formerly known as Kevin Moore - was born in South Los Angeles to parents from the Deep South. D
