Earthflight, A Nature Special Presentation  "North America"  Producer John Downer and his team show the world on the wings of birds, beginning with snow geese. A tiny camera on the back of a trained bird allows viewers to join snow geese flying over New York Harbor. The team also used spycams, a radio-controlled drone, and put cameramen on paragliders piloted by biologists. Their methods allow viewers to fly under the Golden Gate Bridge with pelicans and sail on air currents with golden eagles.G

NOVA  "Secrets of Stonehenge"  Investigations inside and around Stonehenge and its environs are kicking off a new era of discovery and debate about one of England's best known relics of pre-history. New archaeological finds reveal possible answers as well as more questions. National Parks: America's Best Idea  "The Empire of Grandeur (1915-1919)"  After failing to stop Hetch Hetchy dam, the conservation movement pushes the federal government to establish one unified agency to oversee the now dozen national parks scattered among agencies. The National Park Service is established in 1916, directed by Stephen Mather, a wealthy businessman and passionate park advocate. He launches a campaign to expand the system and bring more visitors to the parks. His efforts include protecting the Grand Canyon as a national park. Part 3 of 6G
