Ciao Italia  "Cooking with Friends in Amalfi / Cucinando Con Gli Amici in Amalfi"  Mary Ann travels to Marblehead, MA to re-unite with Harry Lange, a cooking class student who traveled with her to the Amalfi coast. He wants to learn more about the regional recipes, so Mary Ann does just that as they create Scallops in Vinaigrette, Sea Bass with Orange Sauce, Mushroom Salad and Hazelnut, and finish off the splendid Amalfitani meal with Chocolate and Banana Tartlets. D

New Scandinavian Cooking  "Yesterday's Food for the Future"  Andreas visits Rygge, the "vegetable garden" of southeastern Norway, to prepare a traditional menu of root vegetables, goat and hen. Andreas cooks parsley root cream with smoked salmon, and follows it with fricassee of hen, and finally, roast goat. Andreas explains how to make these traditional dishes with modern substitutes. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Granada, Cordoba, and Spain's Costa Del Sol"  Andalucia's Moorish heritage sparkles in the historic capitals of Granada and Cordoba. Rick tastes the smooth sherry and marvels at prancing stallions as he finds the passion in Andalucian culture. He finishes his visit with fun in the Spanish sun on the coast.G

Regina reconnects with an old friend who creates marionettes that tell stories of old. D

This Old House  "Bedford Project, Part 13 of 16"  Landscape contractor Roger Cook uses old-style bricks made in Massachusetts to create a winding path to the new entry door. He uses half-bricks strategically placed to cheat the joints just enough to make the turns. Inside, wallboard and plaster are up, and the cabinets are going in. D

Interviews include Native American elder, Edward E Claplandho, who brings the past alive with stories of American Indian culture and the history of his people in the lush environment; and finally National Park rangers, Jon Preston and Michael Gurling, discuss the geologic and botanical phenomena of this beautiful region. Simply Ming  "Organic Rice Vinegar & Honey"  Guest Chef: Sheila & Marilyn Brass. You've heard the saying, "you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar" Well, forget the flies-you can catch anything if you combine the two of them, because then you get a wonderful, light sweet and sour sauce, especially if you use Asian rice vinegar, as Ming does when he cooks up his Best Ever Baby Back Ribs with Honey-Sesame Glaze, a light Honey Grilled Shrimp with Corn and Jicama Salad, and finally an appetizer that is sure to please, his Sesame Tempura Cod with Honey-Vinegar Dipping Sauce. Then, joining Ming will be the James Beard nominated queens of comfort food, Marilyn and Sheila Brass, who will use today's master pair in their Chicken and Mango Salad with Toasted Cashews. D

Lidia's Italy In America  "New England: Spicy and Sweet in New England"  Take a trip with Lidia to Gloucester, Massachusetts, a fishing village with a large Italian population, and then visit Providence, Rhode Island, where Lidia goes to the Scialo Brothers' Bakery. Lidia makes Spaghetti with Lobster Sauce and tries the Scialo Brothers' recipe for Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes. D
