Rough Cut - Woodworking with Tommy Mac  "Master Showcase with David Marks"  This week on Rough Cut Woodworking with Tommy Mac, we head to beautiful Santa Rosa, California to meet up with master woodworker David Marks as part of our Master Showcase Series. Spending the entire episode in his shop, we learn how former television host and wood turner David Marks makes his spectacular turned hollow wooden vessels. This week's project is made from maple burl, poplar, and ebony and accented with gold leaf. D

P. Allen Smith's Garden Home  "Drink Your Yard"  Using herbs in your cooking is one thing, but in your drinks? P. Allen Smith shows you how to create a garden space that plays nicely with a glass. D

Start Up  "Cheesy Effects"  Gary and the crew head to Bandon, Oregon to talk with Greg Drobot and Daniel Graham, the co-founders of Facerock Creamery, an artisan cheese factory and retail store. Then they head to La Mesa, California to talk with Brea Joseph, a special FX make-up artist. D

Quilting Arts  "Perceptions and Approaches to Quilting Today"  We all take different steps to get us to the same end result, which is a project and technique we love. Susan Brubaker Knapp begins with an image first and then transforms it into a quilt. Next, designer Ebony Love utilizes a fabric die cutter as her key element to accomplish fusible, needle turn and mock needle turn applique. D

Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "A Perfect Pair, Part 4"  In the last episode of this series, Jerry paints in the brighter highlights on the snow drifts. Then adds final highlights and details to the male and female cardinals. Now he adds additional finishing touches to the pine needles as well as adds more needles to create more overlap to better seat the cardinals. D

Steven Raichlen's Project Smoke  "How to Smoke When You Don't Have A Smoker"  Perhaps you live in a condo or you don't have a backyard. This show is for people who want to smoke, but don't have access to a conventional wood- or charcoal-burning smoker. You'll learn how to smoke eggplant on your stovetop burner to make a spectacular eggplant dip (think baba ghanoush on overdrive). D

Making the perfect dessert is even easier. Nick visits the cheese monger and the butcher and prepares Veal Chops with Port & Gorgonzola and a Ricotta Cheesecake with Coffee & Chocolate. D

Topics covered include how to determine if patterns in tables are uniquely described and how to distinguish between closed and recursive descriptions.
