Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "High and Mighty, Part 1"  Jerry starts a wonderful painting on a textured canvas showing the technique with a #12 bristle brush. You will find this segment to be a great study on mountains with a stormy sky. Through a fun, easy method, Jerry quickly creates the stormy sky through the use of the value system. D

Electrician Allen Gallant shows off the exterior lighting and generator, and homeowners John and Julie Corcoran give a grand tour of the beautifully decorated "English cottage" with interior designer Keith Musinski. D

Ask This Old House  "Transforming Stock Shelving/Installing A New Washing Machine Valve"  General contractor Tom Silva kicks off the 11th season of ASK THIS OLD HOUSE by helping a couple transform stock shelving into a custom built-in. Then, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey installs a new washing machine valve that will prevent flooding. D

The Woodwright's Shop  "Field Gate Hinges"  Master blacksmith Peter Ross turns his hammer to forging iron hinges for our oak field gate. We'll see how to shape and weld wrought iron for straps and pintles to make our gate swing true. D

Rough Cut - Woodworking with Tommy Mac  "Laminated Coat Rack"  In this episode of Rough Cut, featuring the Laminated Coat Rack project, Tommy teaches basic geometric patterns using different species of wood by stack laminating. Then, Tommy and crew head out on a Rough Cut Road Trip to Brookhaven, New York, where studio artist David Ebner is busy making his famous Scallion Coat Rack - a project that teaches both lamination and turning techniques. D

NOVA  "Ancient Computer"  NOVA follows the detective work required to discover what may be the world's first computer, an unpromising-looking lump of metal found in 1901 in a 2,000-year-old shipwreck. Researchers used data from high-resolution, 360-degree X-ray scans to decipher markings in the corroded bronze fragments to determine that it is an astronomical calculator and eclipse predictor.G

Antiques Roadshow  "Cincinnati, Hour One"  The show includes a visit to the American Sign Museum for a look at vintage electric signs. Appraisal highlights include a baseball bat used by Mickey Mantle; art pottery from Cincinnati's own Rookwood Pottery; and works by locally born and world-known artist Edward Henry Potthast, valued up to $63,000. British Antiques Roadshow  "Beverley Minster"  Fiona Bruce is now host of the British production of Antiques Roadshow, and she and a team of experts are in Yorkshire. Treasures include a valuable medieval ring dug up on a farm, two Victorian paintings given in exchange for a gambling debt, and a car rescued from a pig farm's outbuilding that is a former rally winner driven by Stirling Moss.G

Rick Steves' Europe  "London: Historic and Dynamic"  Rick ponders royal tombs in Westminster Abbey, learns how to triple the calories of an English scone at teatime, discovers treasures in the British Library, and enjoys the vibrant evening scene in Soho. He uncovers Churchill's secret World War II headquarters, joins the 9-to-5 crowd in the new London, shops where the queen shops, and straddles the Prime Meridian at Greenwich.G

The Lawrence Welk Show  "The Norma Zimmer Show"  Norma Zimmer passed away in 2011 and this 1965 show features her talents. Norma sings "Whistle While You Work" while showing off her paintings. Then she teaches Barbara and Bobby to dance in the "Polka Lesson" and dances a Viennese waltz with Lawrence to "Vienna Echoes." A special tribute to her also has been included in this show.G

Are You Being Served  "Gambling Fever"  The staff members like to bet on horse races. After being caught watching the race in Mr. Rumbold's office, Mr. Humphries goes to the sports department and mimes the race over the security camera.G

Doctor Who Series  "Flesh and Stone"  The Doctor and his friends must escape an army of Weeping Angels by going through the wreckage of a crashed space liner. Meanwhile in the forest vault, Amy finds herself facing an even deadlier attack.G
