Cook's Country from America's Test Kitchen  "Thrill of the Grill"  NULL

9:30 pm
Simply Ming  "Michael Schlow & Butterflying"  If you're a home cook, you may think the culinary technique of butterflying is something better left to those in white jackets. As Ming demonstrates, it's actually a straightforward technique that's great for speeding up cooking time and offering many more options when you're cooking on the fly. Ming, along with his pal, Chef Michael Schlow, show you just how easy it is, creating two delicious new dishes together: Crispy Potato Shrimp with Warm Pineapple Salsa and Pork Chops a la Nonna. D

10:00 pm
Primal Grill with Steven Raichlen  "Asia's Crossroads"  Some of the world's biggest flavors come hot off some of the world's smallest grills. Proof positive? Sizzling beef sates-cut from well-marbled rib eye steaks and masterfully spiced with cumin, coriander, and turmeric from tiny Singapore. From Guam, where the sun first rises on American barbecue, comes a main-course chicken salad like your mother never made: smoked chicken with freshly grated coconut and vivifying doses of lime juice and chiles. D

10:30 pm
Rick Steves' Europe  "England's Bath & York"  Rick takes in Medieval York and Georgian Bath, both easy sidetrips from London. He explores Roman hot springs, cruises canals, and marvels at England's finest Gothic church.G

11:00 pm
Art of the Western World  "Age of Reason, An Age of Passion"  Part I: The playful fantasy and provocative subjects of the Rococo style practiced by Watteau, Fragonard, and Boucher gave way to strict Rationalism, which insisted on morality in art and the purity of classical form, as seen in the works of David. Part II: Striving for individual expression, Romantic painters Goya, Gericault, and Delacroix demonstrated a range of styles and subjects. D
