WordGirl must track down Dr. 2-Brains after he escapes from the Prison Warden's life-size maze, the same week there just happens to be lots of rare cheese to steal from events around town. D

Outdoor Idaho  "Adventure Racing"  The Funtastics Adventure Racing Team of Coeur d'Alene joins fellow adrenaline-seekers who take part in Adventure Sports Week at Farragut State Park. The two-day competition offers 63 miles of biking, 22 miles of running, 19 miles of kayaking, and a swim across a bay on Lake Pend Oreille.G

Mexico -- One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless  "Tijuana Taco Crawl"  People are passionate about their tacos in Tijuana. Ask any local and they'll tell you their favorite - complete with mouthwatering details. Three local Tijuana foodies take Rick on a taco "crawl" starting with arrachera (skirt steak) tacos at El Yaqui. D

Katie Brown Workshop  "Regional Garden"  In this "best-of" episode, host Katie Brown celebrates the diverse tastes of the world. In the Kitchen: French onion soup, Greek-style stuffed eggplant and Jamaican jerk chicken with citrus salsa. Projects: Planting a regional vegetable and herb garden and making creative garden stakes to mark the rows. D

Paint This with Jerry Yarnell  "Kim, Part 1"  (16x20 Acrylic) This painting is the first step in teaching figures and portrait work. The smooth linen canvas used for portrait work is first prepared using a mottled gray background. Jerry starts with a rough sketch of the model using the negative space technique to develop the figure. D

Burt Wolf: Travels & Traditions  "The Shrine of Guadalupe"  Burt goes to Tepeyac, Mexico, to join 5 million pilgrims taking part in the Feast Day of the patron saint of the Americas. He discovers the history of tequila and samples fried ants and grasshoppers.G

Dialogue  "Roadtrip Nation"  Marcia Franklin talks with the founder of the PBS series Roadtrip Nation about how the program started and its goals, including an outreach tour of Idaho. The series takes young people on a six-week trip to talk with leaders about their paths to success. She also talks with a participant in one of the trips and to a representative of the College Board about its partnership with the program.G

Painting and Travel with Roger & Sarah Bansemer  "Teepee"  Roger and Sarah ride in the engine of a train through the Royal Gorge Canyon in Canon City, Colorado. Roger paints a Teepee near Steamboat Springs. D

Globe Trekker  "Mid-Atlantic States"  Brianna Barnes visits Atlantic City and Wildwoods in New Jersey before heading to Delaware with stops in Lewes and Annapolis, followed by crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay. She journeys through the Brandywine Valley into Pennsylvania where she tastes cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, visits Amish country and checks out Pittsburgh's Andy Warhol Museum.G

Austin City Limits  "Raphael Saadiq/Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears"  Saadiq highlights songs from his old-school soul album Stone Rollin'. Lewis and The Honeybears pound out bluesy soul nuggets.G

Great Performances  "The Thomashefskys: Music and Memories of a Life in the Yiddish Theater"  This program brings to life the words and music of the American Yiddish theater. The story's lead characters -- Bessie and Boris Thomashefsky -- also happen to be the grandparents of San Francisco Symphony music director Michael Tilson Thomas. Bessie and Boris emigrated to the United States from Eastern Europe in the 1880s, and while still in their teens, they began to play major roles in the development of New York City's Yiddish theater. D

Live From Lincoln Center  "Renee Fleming @ The Penthouse"  The soprano performs Knoxville Summer of 1915 by American composer Samuel Barber in an intimate concert from the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse. Accompanied by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, she also sings compositions from her new pop and indie-rock album, Dark Hope. Appearing with her to present a collection of Broadway favorites and duets is vocalist Josh Groban.G
